Monthly Subscription Boxes = Awesome!
New [blank] Of The Month Clubs
Wine of the Month, Cheese of the Month, Fruit of the Month, and many other [blank] of the Month Clubs have been around for a long time. They were a great idea, but times have changed. Don't get me wrong, I love a good wine or cheese, but the new boxes are filling the gap by merging products together with themes. Below are the two that I subscribe to, but there are a lot more that I am almost afraid to learn about because I am sure I would be spending way too much money!
Kiwi Crate
I am in love with the new types of monthly subscription boxes and the companies that have created them. The first product I found was Kiwi Crate. Each month they send a different themed box filled with materials and ideas for crafts and hands-on projects for your kids (and depending on your child's age and how much assistance they require, for you too). I received my third box today and opened it with as much anticipation as a child does with presents! I highly recommend Kiwi Crate for any parent who enjoys fun activities, but doesn't have the time needed to find and create new activities for their kids.

Cravebox

I recently discovered a wonderful new product called Cravebox that was started by people at SheSpeaks. The first box arrived yesterday, so while I haven't had time to thoroughly test all of the products, I am still very excited about this monthly arrival! Cravebox is a monthly subscription also with a new theme each month, but is for women. Each month they send out a box with different products that match the month's theme. This first-ever Cravebox theme is "The Holiday Pamper Me" box. Women need to remember to take time out for themselves, and that is what this box is trying to remind them. I will write more about each product in a separate post, but I did try one of the two Baci Chocolate Truffles. I was going to give one to my husband, but after taking a bite of mine decided I was not willing to give away an entire truffle so I let him have a nibble of mine instead. I almost felt selfish for not parting with my other truffle, but since the box is supposed to remind me to pamper myself I decided that just giving him a nibble was extremely generous!
